By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully

1. About Us

EcoTide provides Workplace stays on board a sailing boat, sailing experiences, overnight stays on board the sailing boat and team building activities.

 

2. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be made through our website or agreed communication channels.

Full or partial payment may be required to confirm your booking.

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

A booking is confirmed only after payment is received, and confirmation is issued.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may cancel within [10 days] before the scheduled activity for a full or partial refund.

Cancellations made after this period may not be refunded.

EcoTide reserves the right to cancel or reschedule activities due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, customers will be offered a rescheduling option or a refund.

 

4. Safety and Participant Responsibilities

All participants must follow instructions given by the skipper or crew at all times.

Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to the activity.

Ecotide reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who:

Appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Poses a safety risk to themselves or others

Life jackets and safety equipment must be used as instructed.

 

5. Assumption of Risk

Sailing and water-based activities involve inherent risks.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to:

Weather changes

Movement of the vessel

Physical injury

Participation is at your own risk.

 

6. Liability

EcoTide is not liable for:

Personal injury or loss, unless caused by proven negligence

Loss or damage to personal belongings

Customers are responsible for their own travel insurance and personal coverage

 

7. Overnight Stays

Guests must respect the boat and neighboring boats berthed in the marina.

Any damages caused by a guest may be charged accordingly.

Quiet hours and onboard rules must be followed

 

8. Use of the Boat as a Workplace

Guests using the boat as a workspace must ensure respectful and appropriate use of facilities.

EcoTide is not responsible for:

Internet connectivity issues

Work disruptions due to weather or operational needs

 

9. Weather Conditions

All trips are subject to weather conditions

Decisions regarding cancellations or route changes are made solely for safety reasons by the skipper

 

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and branding, belongs to EcoTide and may not be used without permission.

 

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

 

12. Changes to Terms

EcoTide reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malta
