• Depart Manoel Island Yacht Marina under engine.

• Practice essential manoeuvres: steering, throttle control, and docking preparation.

​1000 - Understanding Sailboat Basics

• Rigging and Sail Handling: Learn how to raise and lower the sails safely.

• Wind Awareness: How to identify wind direction and adjust sails accordingly.

• Points of Sail: Understanding upwind, downwind, and beam reach positions.​

​​​1130 - Basic Navigation and Rules of the Road

• Charts and Course Planning: Introduction to chart reading and simple course plotting.

• Right of Way: Basic navigation rules for safe sailing.

• Pause for a light lunch, either at anchor in a scenic bay or while cruising gently.
